| H’ble Supreme Court directions on timings to burst firecrackers on various festivals | ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ. ਸ਼ਿਵਦੁਲਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ, ਗੁਰਪੁਰਬ, ਕ੍ਰਿਸਮਿਸ ਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਆਮਦ ‘ਤੇ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਥੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਿਹਤ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਮਾੜਾ ਅਸਰ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਖਤਰਾ ਵੀ ਬਣਿਆਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਤ 8:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਤ 10 :00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ, ਗੁਰਪੁਰਬ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਸਵੇਰੇ 4:00 ਤੋਂ 5:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ (ਸਿਰਫ ਇੱਕ ਘੰਟੇ ਲਈ) ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ 9:00 ਵਜੇੋ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਤ 10:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਮਿਸ ਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਆਮਦ ਮੌਕੇ ਰਾਤ 11:55 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ 12:30 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। |
