Website launched by Commissioner Patiala Division Patiala

The revamped version of the district website http://fatehgarhsahib.nic.in on S3waas (Secure, Scaleable and Sugamaya website as a service) platform was today launched by the Commissioner, Patiala Division, Sh. Dipinder Singh, IAS here today. The new website has been made GIGW Compliant (Govt. of India Guidlines on Website), user-friendly for visually challenged persons and accesible in regional language ‘Punjabi’ as well.
Giving information, the Deputy Commissioner, Shivdullar Singh Dhillon said the changes in the updated version were brought in accordance with the Union Government’s instructions for the government websites. The Website contained information about different government departments under the district administration, elections, government notifications, online services, RTI Act, important contact numbers and links to other government websites, photo gallery and Collector Rates etc. The website has been revamped by National Informatics Centre, Fatehgarh Sahib
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to people to regularly visit the website to know about the activities of the district administration and other required information related to its working. He assured to update the website regularly.
Among others, Addl. Deputy Commissioner(G), Assistant Commissioner (General), all SDMs and the DIO, NIC were present on the occasion.
